Sport Teams Accommodations is a unique business which arose from identifying an acute need for a service that could provide sport teams and groups with an easy and efficient way of arranging their accommodation needs when travelling to participate in sporting events.
We also identified that this service would have to be FREE, as these teams and groups are self funding and responsible for their own travel costs. We have therefore developed relationships with selected hotels that enable us to guarantee to our clients the lowest available rates for their accommodation and in return, we provide the hotels with large blocks of rooms from a single source instead of a trickle of single room bookings from multiple customers. We also deal with all client inquiries, amendments and rooming lists, which serves to cut down on the workload for hotel employees. It's not unusual for us to have a requirement for several hundred rooms for a specific tournament at which time we are able to offer a hotel as much of the business as they feel comfortable with. During High Demand Periods: weekends, long weekends and during summer months, when rooms are in short supply in some cities, because we can book blocks of rooms in advance, our advantage leads to your gain!
We feel that our business has created a unique Win, Win, Win situation for (1) the client, (2) the hotel and (3) ourselves and one that does take Sport Teams Accommodations past 100,000 room nights annually. This volume has been developed over term of 6 years.
At present our advertising budget and expenditure is very low, simply because so much of our business comes from repeat customers and referrals. Our business plan for the next twelve months is to have branch offices in Spokane WA, San Diego, Tucson, Vancouver and Winnipeg besides our offices in Phoenix, Calgary, Edmonton, Prince George as well as our Head Office in Kelowna BC.
At Sport Teams Accommodations we believe that we have filled an exciting niche in the hospitality industry and have earned our place as the forerunner in the sports group accommodation market. This business is not seasonal as sports occur year round.
Our long term objective is simple – To keep our integrity with a free service, to develop and maintain close working relationships with selected hotels in key areas, to cover an ever increasingly demand in the North American Sport Group Market and to supply quality accommodations at the lowest possible rates applicable for teams at that property for that specific event. This is an exciting and ever increasing business and we look forward to a mutually prosperous relationship.
