Sport Teams Accommodations Inc. is a unique business which arose from identifying an acute need for a service that could provide Sport Teams and Groups with an easy and efficient way of arranging their accommodation needs when travelling to tournaments.
We also identified that this service would have to be free, as these teams and groups were mostly self funding and responsible for their own costs. We have therefore developed relationships with a large number of selected hotels and travel providers that enables us to guarantee to our clients the lowest available rates for their accommodation and in turn provide the hotels with large blocks of rooms from one source, instead of a trickle of single room bookings from multiple customers.
We also deal with all client inquiries, amendments, rooming lists on behalf of the hotels, which serves to reduce the workload for hotel employees. It is not unusual for us to have a requirement for several hundred rooms for a specific tournament at which time we are able to secure preferential lower rates for the participating teams. During High Demand Periods: weekends, long weekends and during summer months, when rooms are in short supply in some cities, because we can book blocks of rooms in advance, our advantage leads to your gain! We also have the resources to negotiate competitive rates for all transport needs.
We feel that our business has created a unique Win Win situation for the client and the hotel and one that enabled Sport Teams Accommodations exceed 100,000 room nights annually. Therefore, making STA Inc., perhaps the largest business through volume, in the Sport Team market place. The volume savings are passed directly onto the teams.
At present our advertising budget and expenditure is very low, simply because so much of our business comes from repeat customers and referrals. Our business plan for the near future is to have branch offices in Spokane WA, San Diego, Tucson, Las Vegas, Vancouver and Winnipeg in addition to our existing offices in Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, Prince George, Phoenix and our existing Head Office in Kelowna BC.
At Sport Teams Accommodation Inc. we believe that we have filled an exciting niche in the hospitality industry and have earned our place as the forerunner in the sports /group accommodation market for North America but particularly Canada.
Our long term objective is simple - To keep our integrity as a free service, to develop and maintain close working relationships with a growing number of selected quality, team friendly hotels in key areas, to meet an ever increasing need in the North American Sport Group Market and to supply quality accommodations at the lowest rates.
